Charity Work
Throughout the year each class will be championing their chosen charity and will be organising their own events and fundraisers. The Foxes are kicking it off with a sponsored walk on behalf of the British Red Cross, raising money to refugees. The aim is to walk the miles it takes to get from London to Paris. The children will also be learning about their charity all through the year.
The charities the children have chosen are:
Happy Hedgehogs: Spikey Critters Hedgehog Care
Fantastic Foxes: British Red Cross –Miles for Refugees
Super Squirrels: Shepshed Toy Library
Brilliant Badgers: The Bridge Project- Homelessness

The Bridge Homelessness to Hope Charity - Leicester
The Bridge Homelessness to Hope has a strong Christian ethos, was established as a homeless charity in 2009.
Our vision is for everyone to have a place they can call home and hope for the future. Our aim is to support the most isolated and marginalised people who often have no one else to turn to.
The Bridge provides a non-judgemental service to the homeless and vulnerably housed in Leicester. We offer support and mentoring to anyone who is homeless, or who is at risk of becoming homeless, this includes rough sleepers, people that are sofa-surfing and those that are in temporary or unsuitable accommodation.
