Improving our school grounds

1st March 2014

On Saturday 8th February we were delighted to welcome many parents and children to work on the first stage of the development of the forested area at the bottom of the school grounds. We plan to make more use of our extensive grounds and use it as a learning resource.

We are building a natural hazel fence around the area and help was needed to clear the area of brambles and weeds.  Great fun was had by all and the refreshments, especially the hot dogs, were very much appreciated!

Thank you to everyone who helped with this exciting new project.
